One day trek to Kalsubai

The highest peak in the world is Mount Everest.


Likewise, Kalsubai is the highest peak in the Sahyadris in Maharashtra. Kalsubai is the Everest of Maharashtra.
On top of the peak is a small temple, which can seat at the most 3 people. The vastly spread out backwaters of Bhandardara attracts ones attention from the top. On the north we see the mountain range having forts like Ramsej, Achala, Ahivant, Saptashrungi, Markandya, Dhodap, Rawlya, Jawlya, and Kolder. To the east one can spot Aundh, Vishramgad, Alang, Madan, Kulang, Matheran and Harishchandragad. There has, however, been massive deforestation on this mountain.

12.00 am: Leave for the Highest point

12.45 am: Kalyan

Reach Base village Bari by 04:30 am

Rest till 06:00 am in Morning and have Breakfast & Tea

06:30 am Start Introduction Round, Instructions, Ascend

10:30 am Reach on Top

11:00 am to 11:30 am. Explore, Rest & Enjoy the Surrounding on top.

11:45 am Start Descent

02:00 pm Reach Base Village and fresh n up

02:30 pm to 03:00 pm Lunch Time

03:30 pm Dept.

We will be returning to Mumbai by 8-9 pm tentatively. (depend on traffic)

The cost for the trek will be INR 1250/- per head.

Inclusion:
1. Traveling by private Non AC bus from SGNP to SGNP,

2. Morning Tea & Breakfast, Lunch and Evening Tea/Coffee.

3. Adventure geek expertise charges & First Aid.

Exclusion:
1. Any personal expenses such as soft drinks etc.

2. Anything not mentioned in inclusions

3. Registration is only through phone calls and one have to transfer money to below account.

Things To Be carried:

Identity proof (must)

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.(optional)

A bottle of water (at-least 2 Ltrs) Compulsory

Windcheater (Compulsory)

TORCH with extra battery Cap, etc.

Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)

Camera (Optional)

A good trekking shoes, extra pair of floaters, extra clothes.

A haversack to put in all the things to be carried so that one
has one's hands-free while trekking.

Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.

Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

Rains are expected, so pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet. Double pack your valuables in plastic bags.
